Charles E. Lakin Human Services Campus

A one-of-a-kind idea came to fruition in 2008 with the completion of the first buildings on the Charles E. Lakin Human Services Campus. A neglected section of a vibrant neighborhood was redeveloped, allowing space for the expansion of five human service agencies. Heartland Family Service, Micah House, Salvation Army, American Red Cross, and The Boys and Girls Club, now share the 15 acre site near downtown Council Bluffs, and more importantly, near the people they serve.

Godfather’s Pizza, Inc. National Headquarters

Alvine Engineering provided mechanical, electrical, and technology systems design for the new franchisee training center and national headquarters for this growing restaurant chain.The 24,000-square-foot building incorporates not only offices for 57 headquarters employees, but also the test kitchen, training facilities for franchisees, a taste-testing room with a separate entrance for the public and a production studio for photographing products and taping commercials.

First Westroads Bank Corporate Office

Alvine Engineering was contracted to design the mechanical and electrical systems of this new training and headquarters facility.Locally-owned and operated, First Westroads Bank’s goals for the project included acquiring additional office and employee training space to meet the needs of their expanding business. The Alvine Engineering team worked with the architect to design a beautiful, 4-story building, located in a newly developed area of Omaha.
