The design of Wild Rose Casino and Resort presents unique architecture that both salutes the area’s heritage and celebrates its rich future. Alvine Engineering was contracted to design mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology and audiovisual engineering systems for this project.
The City of Lincoln spearheaded a unique partnership between Lincoln Public Schools, the YMCA, and Lincoln Parks and Recreation. This partnership brings a shared-use facility to the northwest Lincoln neighborhood of Fallbrook – with 161,000 square feet of school space, 50,000 square feet of YMCA space, and 45,000 square feet of shared space.
When the Council Bluffs city library moved to a larger facility in 1998, the public appealed to the Friends of the Union Pacific Railroad Museum to make the former library, a Beaux Arts style Carnegie Library, the new home for Union Pacific’s historical collection. A wide array of artifacts is displayed, ranging from a full-size locomotive cab to picks, shovels and furniture from President Lincoln’s funeral railcar.
In an effort to attract more visitors from across the state and the country, the Evangeline Downs Casino and Racetrack chose to construct a new private 117-room hotel incorporating 25,000 SF convention space. Alvine Engineering has been contracted to provide MEPT systems engineering design for this project, slated for completion in 2010.
