The design developed during the master plan and Phase I was based on concepts discovered through research on the life of Saint Therese of Lisieux. The new building complex was given the feel of a quaint village—simplicity and humility were to permeate the design. In addition to mechanical and electrical engineering designs, Alvine Engineering’s Lighting Certified Professional provided specialized lighting selections to reflect the ambience of St. Therese parish. Phase I included a worship space that will eventually become a fellowship hall, office space, education center, narthex and kitchen.
