Alvine Engineering was contracted to provide MEP systems design for this project encompassing two buildings. The first portion added a structural mezzanine inside existing Building 283, a vacant simulator bay of approx. 3,800 sf. The space was converted to administrative space for 45 staff members. Once occupants from Building 285 were relocated into this new space, Building 285 was remodeled with a 2,500 SF addition to ultimately house 65 members of the 522nd Air Control Wing beddown. The total construction cost for this project is estimated at $3 million.
Navy Building 847 Renovation
Alvine Engineering was contracted to provide MEP systems design for this project, the phased development of the office and classroom area located in the south portion of Building 847. The newly renovated areas are comprised of a “mix” of general office, private office, classroom, and conference room spaces.
Repair HVAC and Stairs, Mezzanine 3P69, B3001
Alvine Engineering was contracted to provide MEP systems design for this project which entails a significant remodel of two floors of office space at one of the existing mezzanines within Building 3001, and includes the complete replacement of the HVAC system, reworking of the fire protection, and a complete reworking of the electrical service and lighting.
