Alvine Selected for Nebraska Medicine IDIQ
Alvine Engineering and IP Design Group are honored to have been selected for a contract under the Nebraska Medicine 2020 IDIQ. We are fortunate to have a world-class healthcare organization such as Nebraska Medicine in our hometown. Nebraska Medicine’s increasing role in global healthcare over the past several years has been a testament to its vision and quality of services.
In recent months, we have witnessed firsthand how important and critical it is for our medical professionals to have the right resources to combat COVID-19. UNMC’s College of Nursing had a total of 1,091 students last fall across its five campuses in Omaha, Lincoln, Kearney, Scottsbluff, and Norfolk, according to enrollment information on the school’s website. We are proud to be a part of the process that ensures these healthcare students are equipped with the best technology and educational facilities to help them push healthcare further than ever before.
These students continue to usher in a new standard of healthcare in the same way that Alvine Engineering continues to push the boundaries in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and communications systems design for inpatient/hospitals, clinics/medical offices, and business facilities. We have successfully collaborated with IP Design Group and a variety of University of Nebraska—Lincoln and University of Nebraska Medical Center stakeholders to achieve the specific goals of each entity. This was particularly critical in designing the clinic components of the facility that are required to provide student health care services in a medical clinic environment.
We have substantial experience in the repair and alteration of existing facilities with our 60+ ongoing IDIQs for a variety of private, state, and federal clients. We have been delivering professional design services under an IDIQ arrangement with the Oklahoma University Hospital and Trust (UHT) for nearly 10 years. UHT maintains a similar relationship with the University of Oklahoma as Nebraska Medicine does with the University of Nebraska.
We are ready to serve Nebraska Medicine in a meaningful way throughout the coming years. Check out our online portfolio for more information about our healthcare and academic health experience.
