Health Science Education Complex

The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Nursing expanded its programs at the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus. This new facility provides opportunities for inter-professional learning experience for students preparing for careers in rural primary care, new models for acute and critical care and community-based care. Program spaces include classrooms, labs, simulation suites, exam rooms, and musculoskeletal, rehabilitation, and energized labs.

The new Creighton University School of Dentistry will have a gross area of approximately 200,000-square-feet distributed over four floors. This area includes the following program spaces: clinics, research and teaching laboratories, classrooms, commons area, and administrative offices.

This multi-story, multi-million dollar College of Business Administration building is being built at the southeast corner of 14th and Vine Streets. Planned for five levels, one below ground and four above ground. An atrium is anticipated, giving the college a place to hold events to engage the local community.

Five Partners Place

Alvine Engineering designed the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for this new 100,000-square-foot, four-story, multi-tenant office building for the University of Oklahoma. Our team worked closely with the architect and the University to ensure that project criteria and University standards were met. The project was designed in multiple phases in order to start construction while tenant spaces were being designed.

St. John Paull II Newman Center

Newman Centers are Catholic ministry centers at non-Catholic universities that provide residential living spaces, pastoral services, and opportunities for social gatherings. The John Paul II Newman Center is a joint venture with UNO that will provide on-campus housing for more than 160 students in a 4-story building accompanied by a rectory, chapel, student commons, outdoor courtyard, and prayer garden.

Paul Merage School of Business

The new School of Business provides a high-tech 300-seat auditorium, a dining hall, resource centers, classrooms, study rooms, and a trading and technology lab. There is also a large meeting hall for symposiums with an outdoor terrace for receptions. The terrace overlooks a new shaded courtyard which is heated from below.

Outdoor Adventure Center

The $5.28 million Outdoor Adventures Center is the University of Nebraska—Lincoln’s home for outdoor academic and non-credit classes, the adventure trips program, challenge course, the UNL bike shop and gear rentals, and Nebraska’s largest climbing and bouldering gym, covering 2,383 square feet and offering 30 rope lines. The exterior climbing wall creates a unique focal point for the building. The building is lit to be a beacon for visitors coming to campus from the North.

Summit Sports Complex

Summit Sports Complex will be among the premier indoor amateur sports venues in the United States. The 155,000-square-foot multi-sport facility will be home to eight regulation basketball courts, 16 regulation volleyball courts, two indoor soccer fields, fitness and personal training, medical and physical therapy services, and casual and nutritional dining.
