The existing 6-story senior living tower received a $14 million expansion and renovation that included a state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym, clubhouse/pub, private dining venue, larger central kitchen, and meditation sanctuary. The first phase of the expansion project included 80 skilled nursing units.

Pacific Life Corporate Data Center and Office Building

Our team provided design for this 9-story facility comprised of an attached parking garage and detached central utility plant. The facility deploys leading edge technologies in areas ranging from IP-based clock, wireless, next generation wireless, and integrated room scheduling systems. IP-based technologies were deployed over Category 6 horizontal cabling systems originating from the mission critical server room to Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF LAN) rooms centrally located at each level.

Revere House Boston Commons Energy Audit

Alvine Engineering provided an independent evaluation of the property to identify opportunities for utility cost savings through enhanced operating practices and/or building equipment retrofits. Our team also worked with the Owner group to focus on the identification of capital expenditures to maintain operability of the building’s key mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems including the HVAC systems that were consistent with their investment pro forma. Findings included a budget estimate and priority ranking for each capital expenditure recommendation. Alvine was also contracted to implement the energy savings and capital expenditures improvements.
