Jenn discovered her passion for acoustics early on, when her choir director sparked her curiosity about how different spaces shape sound. That moment revealed to her that acoustics could beautifully merge her love for math and music. In college, she learned firsthand how distracting mismanaged sound can be when she took a physics course in a classroom with a constant, high-pitched sound – something she explored further in her master’s thesis about determining thresholds of annoyance to tones in noise.

Since 2022, Jenn has provided acoustical consulting and design services on projects nationwide. Jenn’s portfolio in acoustical design is highlighted by work in education, corporate offices, retail, hospitality, and multi-family developments. Additionally, she has worked on projects that have changed cityscapes, including projects within the iconic Nashville Yards mixed-use development and the Sherwin-Williams Headquarters in Cleveland. The size, scale, and complexity of the Sherwin-Williams project have made the progress earned throughout design and construction an enriching experience for Jenn. Her work in corporate offices throughout the year has allowed her to apply freshly gained experience in the one-of-a-kind building. Additionally, Jenn was pivotal in coordinating a hands-on, in-person acoustical demonstration titled the “Ears on Experience,” which allowed project stakeholders the opportunity to experience firsthand how acoustic solutions impact an office environment.

As a project manager, Jenn continuously helps clients find solutions and problem-solves to meet their end goals. She is also incredibly passionate about providing education in the acoustics industry and seeks to provide learning opportunities for clients and coworkers alike. From AIA presentations to being invited to impromptu work meetings, Jenn takes every chance she can to share her insights on acoustics.
