PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Architect Rand Elliott spent decades looking out his office window at the approximately 90-year-old Flatiron Building across the street, imagining how he would restore the building to what he calls “the jewel of the block” status. Now the headquarters of PLICO, an Oklahoma-based healthcare insurance provider, the updated Flatiron Building has retained its historical status while providing modern office spaces.
The project includes the renovation of the 2-level building and the construction of a modern, yet complementary rooftop addition, boardroom, and outer deck that overlooks downtown.
