PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Located on the University of Oklahoma’s Research Park in Oklahoma City, the Gene Rainbolt Graduate School of Business offers students a modern learning environment. The space, previously a floor slated for laboratory research, was completely re-imagined into a collaborative and multi-functional educational area.
The space welcomes students and guests with a multi-media wall, boasting a stock ticker and multiple screens. Strategically-placed study lounges, private rooms, and learning classrooms encourage collaboration amongst students and faculty and build a strong sense of community. In addition, large conference rooms, lecture halls, faculty offices, and a cafe are housed on this floor.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Designed modifications to the air distribution ductwork to meet the traditional lecture hall layout, versus the former layout designed for air movement required in laboratory research.
  • Coordinated modifications to the existing air distribution system with the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center to ensure facility maintenance standards were maintained.
  • Designed lighting and control systems consisting of zoned, dimmable lighting within offices and classrooms.
  • Designed power equipment connections for full-height partition systems furniture, skyfold dividing partitions, and lecture hall tables with integrated power and data connections.
