Brian Worthen P.E., HFDP

In high school, Brian Worthen had two teachers with backgrounds in engineering. They brought industry experience to the coursework, making learning more meaningful and practical. Their mentorship ignited his interest in math and science, ultimately leading him to graduate from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. This foundation has paved the way for a rewarding career in architectural engineering.
One of the most impactful projects in Brian’s career has been the Oklahoma Children’s Hospital Behavioral Health Center. As a licensed mechanical engineer and a certified Healthcare Facility Design Professional (HFDP), this was one of the largest healthcare projects that Brian has been a part of. He takes pride in getting to play a small part in a project that he believes will be very impactful for the Oklahoma City metro area. A project of this size and complexity presented a lot of professional development in design. Brian had the chance to collaborate with talented engineers and architects to ask questions and compare notes on various systems and design elements.
As a Project Manager at Alvine, Brian understands the importance of having mentors early in one’s career. With a decade of professional experience, he is dedicated to giving back to young engineers who are just starting, sharing industry knowledge that will help set them up for success.
