Antonia Nelson P.E., LEED AP BD+C

Headshot of Antonia Nelson at Alvine Engineering

Antonia comes from a family of engineers, growing up with a natural curiosity for how things work. Analytical and detail oriented, she found engineering to be a great fit for her strengths, graduating from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln with a degree in electrical engineering.

Recognizing that the architecture, engineering, and construction industry is constantly evolving, Antonia is always looking for new ways to balance and improve the integration of architecture and engineering. One project where her experience has been particularly impactful is the First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) Tower transformation. A phased renovation of 22 levels of the iconic downtown Omaha skyscraper has brought many exciting opportunities and challenges. This includes integrating modern design aspects that align with FNBO’s corporate vision and employee needs while coordinating between the design and construction teams, keeping the project on time and within budget.

Antonia understands that integration is only becoming more of a priority as clients and building owners look to incorporate more health, inclusion, and technology initiatives into their buildings. She is always searching for more efficient and cost-effective ways to provide solutions for clients. Antonia walks into every project with this mindset and makes it her utmost goal.
