The new Creighton University School of Dentistry will have a gross area of approximately 200,000 square feet distributed over four floors. This area includes the following program spaces: clinics, research and teaching laboratories, classrooms, commons area, and administrative offices.
- Laboratory utilities, including, but not limited to, purified water, laboratory air, laboratory vacuum, and laboratory acid waste neutralization equipment centrally located adjacent to the laboratory spaces.
- Plumbing systems designed to conserve water. Lavatory faucets, excluding specialty medical sinks, with automatic flow types consuming 0.5 gallons per minute or less.
- Two 1500-kVA exterior transformers fed from the 15-kV campus loop to serve the building.
- Emergency power supplied by a natural gas generator located on-site in a weatherproof enclosure.
